  4. International Wire Transfer (Convera)

    1. This is for suppliers who are located outside the US or Canada, or those in the US or Canada who want to be paid in non-US Currency
    2. Registration: After you set up in payment works, Rutgers provides instructions for how to set up an account in Convera. This is the banking system which will do the wire transfer.

Note:  Paymode-X is a separate process from PaymentWorks.  PaymentWorks is the supplier portal where you/your company registered to become a supplier of Rutgers.  No banking or ACH information is collected in PaymentWorks.

Mailing Payment Methods

  1. You will enter in a location for a physical check to be mailed to, which Rutgers will do once the payment has processed. You will be able to reach out to your Rutgers contact to see the process of the check, but they can only see the date it sent. There is no tracking on the checks. Checks arrive 5-10 days after the date they are sent.

We hope this has provided you with payment alternatives to a physical check.  If interested in these electronic payment options, please send your response to [email protected] specifying the option you are requesting (Virtual Card or Paymode-X) and Rutgers will send you the appropriate enrollment templates for completion.

Questions regarding these programs may also be sent to[email protected].  Thank you.
